Mulville just took a red-eye flight to Puerto Rico a couple hours ago. He got invited down there by Carlos Diaz (who runs the Profile Puerto Rico race team) for a weekend of demos. For the balance of the time, he'll be surfing in Rincon and getting burnt lobster-style. He emailed me from the airport to let me know he had photos to send from his Cali trip, but couldn't send them in time.
Tony Cardona...If you haven't heard, Tony got picked up by S&M. Congrats to him! Just got an email from him as he was out the door to Cali. with Aaron Ross, Chase Hawk, Sean Sexton, and Chad Shakleford. They were heading to Rick Lonnies house for a trail jam and BBQ. This is the life...weekends in Cali. and trail jams at Pro-football player's houses.
Amazing.
On the other side of things, Matt Beyers in Victoria, BC.. Spring trail season is on the horizon:
"Winters are dark and we're pressed with rain to find time on the bike, better than being frozen to indoors or under layers and snow..in my opinion. The rain gives us lose workable dirt and plenty time for the ideas to flow. Only once this season I had to break through frozen ground to make ground, not sure if the same can be said anywhere else in Canada country. So if you can dig out and fill your winter, spring is an inspiring time."
Craig Stevens from Profile Europe is heading back to his homeland of South Africa the 20th of April. From what Craig said, it will be plenty of driving around the coast for riding, surfing, and fishing. If you don't know Craig, picture a carnival act on a freight train...Craig--when are you coming back to the states?
Speaking of new shirts, Retro Logo Profile shirts have also arrived. They look really sweet, and you can get one for yourself, or your girl, right here.
