Alexis Desolneux: Tampa stint, Post Battle in the Rockies.

It’s been 16 years since Alexis last visited Tampa Bay. Considering he was going to Colorado Springs for the Battle in the Rockies contest, we thought it best to help him spend a couple days in the Sunshine State. Unfortunately, it was little reprieve. One of the nights dropped to 37 degrees.

As was the case 16 years ago, finding a good parking lot to session was always a battle. But, thanks to Henry Davis (East County Bmx in Santee, Ca.), while living here in the early 2000’s, he scoped out this church parking lot in mid town. It’s not 100% ideal for rolling moves, maybe more like 90%, but it served its purpose well. The most important part of the locale is that its across the street from the infamous Taco Bus: A Tampa Bay staple. Good sesh, followed by dialed food.
Over those three afternoons, here’s some photos that we captured. Thanks to Alexis for years of support. It’s always a pleasure riding/chilling/shooting with him.
