Being a Floridian, I’m pretty used to the heat however, living on a barrier island of Florida, we tend to stay a little cooler…
…That being said, I spent a few days in the great northeast recently and it just so happened to be during a heatwave bringing temperatures in the 100’s! Everyone kept saying to me, “You should be used to this coming from Florida!” However, it was almost 20 degrees cooler being in the mid 80’s at home!
Even with the heat, it was such a great time! The visit consisted of a Circuit Bmx Shop X Profile Racing pump track jam, as well as the BMX In Our Blood – Road 2 Recovery jam, both of which were awesome!
We also got to ride a little street, some park and trails, just solidify the good times!
I gotta say thanks to Profile, Circuit, BMX In Our Blood and everyone else involved for making it such a great adventure, despite the heatwave.
