Mike Saavedra: Desert Winter.
Winter is rolling in and the days have gotten so short it feels like I live in the Arctic where you only get 30 minutes of sunlight.
But it’s motivating to get things done and try and stay healthy with the shift in weather and all the holiday headaches. So I’ve made it a point to get back on my road bike as much as possible and back on that fresh juice everyday. The best way to keep your immune system sharp. Meanwhile I’m still waiting on this El Niño. This kid is almost two years late… I’ve done just about every rain dance I can think of. But no luck yet. But as soon as it does rain I’ll be at the trails ready to play in the mud.
I’ve made the trip out to FOD a few times now. It’s always a fun session with those boys! Big thanks to Joey Cardova.

Kale shots for everyone
We have had some beautiful sunsets this last week! Couldn’t think of a better way to enjoy them…
