Profile Cranks: An Aesthetic Transition

Over the next couple years, Profile will be slowly transitioning from our classic stamped cranks, to a laser etched finish.

Owner and founder, Jim Alley, felt that the stamp, even though it is proprietary to Profile, was not identifiable in cases of heavy powder coating.

Profile will start immediate post production laser etching on our 17o and 175mm RHD cranks, with all the other sizes and colors to slowly follow.

Similar to the Profile Column Cranks, our classic 19mm cranks will have a Profile logo near the spindle boss and crank arm size near the pedal boss.

This is only an aesthetic change; the same craftsmanship, durability, and warranty has not, and will never change.
