Profile in Austin part one

Hey all- trip was amazing. Just dropped off Mike and Jared at the airport. Had a close call last night as our rental van broke down in Dallas. We made it to Alamo just in time for a new one. Close call. All the Profile dudes made finals and as you already heard, Mulville got 2nd in dirt. Pretty damn awesome. We also shot a bunch of photos with Chris from Plus.

After a pretty long drive from Morgan Wade’s compound in Tyler, we got to Austin at about noon. Seems like the meeting spot is Empire BMX, you run into just about everyone there if you were to stay a whole 8 hour shift. Empire’s new building is phenomenal. Gigantic, plenty of office and storage space, and their inventory is incredible. Thanks to Tom and Tina for the support and the tour. After meeting up with Chris Arriaga from Plus, we went on a little street mission near the Toast set up. Grabbed some photos of Mike and Grant and then headed to the venue to meet up with Tyler Gilliard.

Flat was held in a separate warehouse and they had to cement the cracks out of the floor to make the surface conducive. At night, I headed over to the flat jam where a good 150 people met up to session for a couple hours. Pretty incredible scene. Here’s some photos I grabbed before the actual event started. Enjoy and stay tuned tomorrow for plenty more pics…
