On Friday we headed to Eastern Boarder in Danvers Mass. While trying to find a hotel, we figured out that any attempt in doing so was a waste of time within 40 miles of boston. A ton of out of town commuters post up during the week and then head into the city.
We finally drove some convoluted route and landed a place to stay for the night. A good amount of sleep was had and a trip to EB first thing in the morning was a good start to the day. EB is an indy chain of five stores that offer a large selection of bmx, skate, and snowboard. If you’re near Boston, the shop has everything you possibly need. Sean and Scott were super hospitable, we ate some pizza then headed to the Peabody cement park to ride with the locals. Peabody is some massive cement–we cruised it for a bit, talked to the locals, played some basketball and then headed 2-1/2 hours across the state to meet up with Matt Stills. Matt was generous to hook us up with a session at the “barn” (a perfect private set up of boxes, wallrides, and quarters on the second story of an actual barn). I rode it so much I forgot to snag some shots. The up an coming edit will give it justice…probably one of the best private set ups I’ve ridden. Providence street next.
