Profile News For Monday

Woke up bright and early on Saturday and headed down to this first jam in a Florida series of five for 2012. The Abacoa park is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday for Bmx.

And those city workers who run the park are super cordial, helpful, and pro-bmx. I feel embarrassed to say that I’ve never been there prior to the jam given its probably one of the best cement parks in Florida. Despite the two hour rain delay, the comp. went over really well with 84 entries, total. Here’s a cache of photos I collected throughout the day.

Dave Brumlow. One of the series organizers making things happen.

Half the course post down-pour.

Roger Sullivan. Old-school vert pro, older cousin to Chris Doyle. Seriously. This dude was killing it.

Each stop with have their own hand-made trophies.

A lot of time and effort went into planning this, as well as the other four comps. to come.
Come shred.
