Profile’s Pimp-a-Ride (BMX race style)

After a cold rainy weekend in Powder Springs the team was happy to head just a few miles away for the SSA Florida State Series rounds 5 & 6 in St. Augustine, FL and a weekend of warm weather and sunny skies. The Profile team set up shop along factory row on Friday. Saturday morning came and the team was ready to race, first up was Tyler Faoro. The gate dropped and Tyler had the hole shot from start to finish, the crowed was on their feet cheering and clapping as Tyler and the rest of the Pro moto came screaming buy. There was one spectator that cheered louder and clapped harder than the rest, that guy was “Big” Ben Fox. Ben was having so much fun watching the Pro Men, Pro Ladies and everyone race, I said to myself, “Now that’s what racing should be about, just having fun!” I did not realize that Ben is a very special young man that just started racing BMX with his dad, so I approached Ben’s dad and let him know that we wanted to “Pimp” Ben’s ride. Not only did we pimp his ride, but Ben got to meet and talk with every Pro that was there, I know that I was inspired by Big Ben and it showed that everyone at that track was too when we had a line at our trailer to meet Big Ben Fox. Ben touched so many people over the weekend especially Tyler Faoro; this is what he had to say, “I was fortunate enough to spend some time with my man Big Ben Fox today in St. Augustine. You should have seen the smile we tricked his bike out with all new Profile parts! The photos, hand shakes and autographs from everyone brought him so much joy. The pleasure was all mine Big Ben. These types of moments are what really make me appreciate my career!”

A BIG THANKS to Profile Racing and all of our sponsors for giving us the opportunity to make Big Ben smile. Fly Racing, Hyper Bikes, MAXXIS, Feedback Sports, Sun Rims, Sinz, ODI Grips, Box Components, KMC Chains, Monster a and Vapor Design
