Profile’s trip to the Anodizer.

We took a trip down to our Anodizer on Saturday morning. Had a good little meeting and got schooled on the art of Anodizing.

Its pretty amazing to think that there is a chemical/electrical equation for each aluminum and titanium grade. Our sprockets, hubs, stems, etc…each have a different physical make up that dictates how long you dip it into the coloring vat and what electrical charge to use.

Know that each of our hubs is hand anodized. Handled and completed here in the US. Once anodized, they’re shipped back here to the factory for finishing processes. Built, labeled, boxed and shipped.
