Saavedra and LA’s inner city pump track

So after digging almost non stop for the last 3 weeks at the trails, I needed to take a day off and get some riding in. Aaron Nardi hit me up about coming out to work on an edit at this pump track he had been working on. So the next day Sal and I took a trip out to LA. After a few phone calls we met up with Jeremy Pavia who didn’t live too far from the spot. We weren’t sure what to expect but the place ended up being really fun. We met the locals and helped get everything running from the rain the night before. Within a hour we had the whole track looking good. Just in time for sandwiches and cold beer, courtesy of Pete the main dude behind the project. After that we spent the afternoon doing trains and goofing off like the kids we are. Its really good to see people like Pete doing something positive for the community. All the kids have a great opportunity to learn how to ride a bike now thanks to all that has gone in to this place. Check out espn for an edit of the inner city pump track.
