Coming Home — Gervais Rousseau’s Western France Bowl Sessions — Profile Racing

 

Gervais Rousseau has never been one to mention his age. But I think in context of this project, it’s an impressive factor.

In September of 2026, we visited three bowls (Saint-Nazaire and Nantes, France) that Gervais considers his local spots — not only are these bowls incredibly technical and a bit terrifying to ride, he rides them solo. Personally, Gervais has always been an inspiration for me, so it was an honor to get behind the camera and document his daily sessions.

At 55, he represents a milestone on two wheels that we can all aspire to reach — it just takes an equation of repetition, drive, and love for bmx. For him, there’s no compromise on the math. This is Gervais Rousseau, Coming Home.
