From Dawn till Dusk — Big Island Vibes — Jared Eberwein

My family and I have been travelling to the Hawaiian Islands annually, the Big Island to be precise, but this holiday family vacation was a little different. I brought my bike to devote one day, solely to riding. The day’s itinerary was planned, and highly motivated by my good friend Daniel Chambers. With one day to make the most of it, that’s exactly what happened; From dawn till dusk, and to the point where everyone was spent. Thanks to Ryan Seifried who’s paradise of dirt jumps, sculpted into a beautiful front/side yard (from a BMX’ers POV) and including a hybrid of wood ramps and a perfect cement quarter for some added fun, began the session.

The day was capped off with a sprinkling of skateparks and some unexpected rain, which detoured us to a quick flatland spot just before ending at the last skatepark. It was perfect timing for an incredible end-of-day sunset. Thanks to all the locals that came out (even some travelling from other islands) to enjoy the session with me; You truly made it an amazing day and I’m so grateful for the new friendships created and the memories made. Being able to film/edit this video was the icing on cake.
