Quarantine in a nutshell with Jared Eberwein
“I know everyone has a been effected by this quarantine life we’ve all been consumed by. Struggles, some more than others, some not at all, but anyways I just wanted to share a little bit of what my experience has been thus far. First off, I love that I have my family and have been able to enjoy A LOT of ‘us’ time.
First big thing that was effected for me was BMX shows. A BMX show is entertainment, and that was a huge one effected all over the world. It’s a big part of my life, I love them, so it’s a bummer that we had a good line up just completely vanish. What are we gonna do though, right?! Just hunker down and get through it.
Luckily I can still ride haha, some not so easy to do so as much skateparks were closed, but just now opening up. I live near a few friends that have ramps in their backyards, really GOOD ones at that. I’m grateful to be able to ride them whenever they’re around. I also set up the show ramp in my driveway for a weekend just so I can ride as well. I rode a couple of parks as well “we weren’t allowed to”.
All in all, it’s been ok, but definitely a change of normalcy. Especially with our boys and them not being able to do their typical day to day things, or go out and about, visit family/friends. Them not understanding, but trying. Just happy everyone I know is healthy and keep on keepin on.”
