Rob Davis’ Fireman’s Goodwill Ambassador
Thanks to Greg Mundy and Rob Davis for years of support. Here’s Rob’s 20,000 mile build.
Name: Rob Davis, Firemans Goodwill Ambassador
Hometown: Austin, TX
Favorite spots : I’m all over town on this thing! I ride with an amazing crew of cyclo-psychos here in Austin, and we have an endless assortment of routes that normally include some long-cranking uphills, and seriously puckering descents.
I originally met Greg Mundy of Firemans Texas Cruzer in 2001, on the day I bought this Firemans Cromoly 26 inch Cruzer, and I’ve been working with him, and our awesome crew ever since. I’ve put more than 20,000 miles on this bike, and I recently decided to a fully stripped-frame, new powder coat, new parts rebuild.

The last photo is the Profile Fireball 44t Sprocket from my original build of this bike. After 20,000+ miles, I decided to give it an early retirement. I think I changed chains at least three times, but this sprocket could still go for miles and miles. That’s quality manufacturing!
A BIG Firemans Texas Cruzer THANK YOU goes out to Matt and all the fine folks at Profile Racing. Your beautiful anodized parts make builds like this possible. Buy American. Build American. Ride American!
